Your home is one of your most cherished possessions and biggest investments. When the time comes for you to sell it, you’ll want to get the highest possible price. That’s why making conversions now will pay off—literally and figuratively—in the future. Bathrooms and kitchens are the most important investments when increasing a home’s value.
Valley Design Center specializes in upgrading bathrooms and kitchens. In addition to our huge variety of choices from superb brands, we beat all others when it comes to friendly, excellent and individualized customer service. We know that for some of our customers, remodeling their kitchens and bathrooms is a brand-new learning process. We are always happy to guide them through it.
These improvements boost the value of your home.
Add a bathroom. It’s one of a home’s most valued and frequently used rooms. Another loo makes a home more functional and comfortable, and it doesn’t have to include a bathtub or shower. A john and sink are good enough. If you think there’s not ample room for another bathroom, consider an underused closet, a spot in the basement, or permanently borrowing a bit of space from a hallway or a bedroom.
What’s under that old wall-to-wall carpeting? If it’s a well-preserved hardwood or tile floor, you’re good to go. And if the floor isn’t in top shape, contemplate an inexpensive spruce-up.
If your kitchen’s countertops aren’t made of stone, make the change. Installing lighting under the cabinets will show off that marble, granite or quartz.
Small updates to a bathroom can make a big difference. New metal fixtures, paint, light fixtures and exhaust fans are terrific ways to freshen things up. And while you’re at it, replace a water-hogging toilet with a slim-line, low-flush model. And if your budget allows, know that a huge soaking tub in the master bath is so last year. People now want that space for a big ’n’ beautiful shower, preferably an infinity model.
